Who Put Bella in the Wych Elm? is the fictionalisation of a true story. Over 70 years ago, in Hagley Woods just outside of Worcestershire, the body of a young woman was found trapped inside a hollow Wych Elm tree. 

The unsolved case of ‘Bella’ has fascinated people for decades, attracting a wide array of conspiracy theories: who was she? How did she die? Who killed her? And why did no one look for her?
