The Baby Thief

The Baby Thief is a semi-fictional story of a private investigator-come-blogger, who helps the victims of Georgia Tann reunite with their birth families following years of separation.

The fictional aspects of the story will centre around the protagonist, following fictitious relationships with her at the centre. However, the events surrounding the antagonist of the show, Georgia Tann, are all true stories following her crimes and her many victims.

Georgia Tann is a woman known primarily for reinventing the institution of adoption, supplying average citizens and global superstars alike with children that Tann had stolen rather than rehomed. With weighty political connections, Tann never suffered any consequences of her crimes, and her victims never received justice.

Our private investigator will delve into the murky world that Georgia manipulated, during which she discovers that she too is a victim of Tann and sets out to find her own birth parents.
